Saved searches store your search filters so you can reuse them later without setting them up again. Select Save Search below the filters to save one, and Load Search to reuse it. A saved search stores your filters, not the results, so each time you load it you see the latest matching contacts or companies.
Package: Standard and PRO
Role: All users. Saved searches are private to your user account.
Save a search
- On the Search page, add the filters you want.
- Select Save Search below the search filters.
- Choose Save as New Search and give the search a name.
Save Search stays greyed out until you add at least one filter.
Load a saved search
You can load a saved search in three ways:
- From the Search page: your three most recently saved searches appear under Your saved searches, below the AI Search bar. Select the arrow next to a search to apply its filters.
- From the Load Search window: select View all, find the search, and select Load.
- From the filters panel: select Load Search below the filters, then choose the search.
The filters apply straight away.
Find, rename or delete a saved search
- On the Search page, select View all next to Your saved searches to open the Load Search window.
- Search for a saved search by name.
- To rename or delete it, select the More (⋮) menu next to the search, then Rename or Delete.
The Load Search window shows how many filters each search uses, but not which filters they are. Load the search to see them.
Update a saved search
You can’t edit a saved search directly. To change one:
- Load the saved search.
- Add, remove or change filters.
- Select Save Search, then Update Existing Search.
- Choose the search to update.
Updating overwrites the saved filters with your current ones. To keep the original as well, choose Save as New Search in step 3 instead.
Share search criteria with your team
Saved searches can’t be shared with other users. To share targeting criteria, use Personas. Admins can create Personas and assign them to users or teams. See:
Troubleshooting
I can’t see a search my colleague saved.
Saved searches are private to the user who created them. Ask your colleague to share the filters as a Persona instead.
My saved search shows different results from last time.
This is expected. A saved search stores filters, not results, and Cognism’s data is updated continuously, so matching records change over time.
Save Search is greyed out.
Add at least one filter. You can’t save an empty search.
Some of my saved searches end in “_migrated”.
These are searches carried over from the previous Cognism platform. They work like any other saved search, and you can rename them from the More (⋮) menu.
Does saving a search use credits?
No. Saving and loading searches is free. Credits are only used for actions such as revealing contacts, exporting, or adding unrevealed contacts to a list. See Understanding Credits in the Cognism Sales Intelligence Platform.
