When a contact's job title or company has changed since they were added to a List, the new platform will display a Job Changed indicator directly on the contact record. This helps you quickly identify contacts whose information is no longer current and gives you the option to reveal their latest details.
For example, if a contact was originally saved as VP of Product at Deliveroo but has since become Senior Director at Meta, the new platform will flag the record as having changed and allow you to reveal the updated information.
Benefits
The Job Changes feature helps you:
- Identify warm opportunities by spotting contacts who have moved to new companies, making it easier to reconnect with existing relationships.
- Avoid working outdated data by highlighting contacts whose current role or employer no longer matches what was originally saved.
- Understand why a reveal is needed, as the existing information is no longer accurate and the reveal provides genuinely new data.
- Keep your CRM up to date by identifying contacts that may benefit from re-enrichment after a job change.
How It Works
When you open a List, the new platform automatically compares:
- The job title and company that were saved when the contact was added to the List.
- The latest verified information available for that contact.
If the new platform detects a material change to either the contact's title or company:
- A Job Changed indicator is displayed on the contact.
- The updated information can be accessed using the standard reveal process.
- No additional workflow or setup is required.
Where This Applies
The Job Changes indicator is available for:
- Newly created Lists
- Existing Lists
- Lists migrated from the legacy platform
Frequently Asked Questions
What qualifies as a job change?
A contact is flagged when the new platform detects a significant change to their job title, company, or both compared to the information originally stored in the List.
Does this update my List automatically?
No. The List continues to display the information that was originally saved until you reveal the updated contact details.
Does revealing updated information use credits?
Yes. Updated contact details are revealed through the normal credit workflow, just like any other reveal.
Why can't I see a Job Changed indicator for every contact?
Only contacts where the new platform has detected a material change in employment information will display the indicator. Contacts whose title and company remain unchanged will continue to appear normally.
