Search results are divided into Contacts and Companies, allowing you to quickly switch between individual prospects and organisations that match your search criteria.
Search Results Overview
After a search completes, the results page displays:
- Total matching Contacts
- Total matching Companies
Use the Contacts and Companies tabs to switch between result types.
If your search returns too many or too few results, refine your search using the available filters to narrow your audience.
View Contact Results
Each contact record provides quick access to key information and actions directly from the search results.
You can preview a contact, reveal contact details, add contacts to Lists, export records, or open the full contact profile for additional information.
Open the Contact Preview
Click anywhere on a contact record to open the contact preview.
The contact preview provides a quick overview without leaving the search results.
From the contact preview you can:
- View basic contact information
- View the contact's LinkedIn profile
- Reveal contact details
- Add the contact to a List
- Export the contact
- Open the full contact profile
- Open the associated Company profile
- Switch to the Company Profile
View Company Information from a Contact
The contact profile includes a summary of the company the contact works for.
The company section contains:
- Basic company information
- Research by Cognism AI
To access the complete Company profile, click the company name.
The full Company profile includes:
- Company overview
- Employees
- Intent signals
- Technologies
- Recommended contacts
- Research by Cognism AI
From the full Company profile you can:
- Claim the company
- Export the company to your CRM or as a CSV
- Browse employees
- View recommended contacts
View Company Results
Select the Companies tab at the top of the search results to view organisations instead of individual contacts.
Click any company to open the Company profile.
The Company profile contains:
