This guide shows how to access contact details and company insights while browsing LinkedIn. With the Cognism LinkedIn extension, you can identify the right prospects, review key data, and export records to your CRM without leaving the platform.
Before you start
Make sure that:
- The Cognism Chrome Extension is installed and pinned to your browser
- You are logged in to the extension
- You are signed in to LinkedIn
Opening the extension on LinkedIn
- Open LinkedIn in Google Chrome
- Go to a LinkedIn contact profile or company page
- If Auto-open extension is enabled, the Cognism panel opens automatically
- If it does not open, click the Cognism icon in your browser toolbar
The extension appears alongside the LinkedIn page.
Viewing contact data
When you open a LinkedIn contact profile, the Cognism extension displays available contact information.
This can include:
- Email addresses
- Mobile phone numbers
- Job title and company information
- Location details
