AI Search is a beta feature, which means you may experience the occasional unexpected behaviour or results.
Streamline Your Prospecting Workflow with AI Search in Prospector on Cognism
What is it?
AI Search is a feature within Prospector on the Cognism Web Application that allows you to search for Contacts and Companies using natural language. Simply type your query in the search bar, and Prospector will automatically identify keywords to perform a tailored search.
How do I use it?

Open Prospector Search
Locate the search bar at the top of your screen.

Input Your Search
Type your query or use the voice input feature.
Note
Voice input supports multiple different languages and is translated in real-time to English.

Submit Your Search
Click the send icon or press Enter to execute your search.

Review Your Results
Results will be displayed as usual.
Rate the relevance of your results by clicking the thumbs up or thumbs down icon on the right side of the search bar.

Access Search History
Click the history icon on the right side of the search bar to view and reload previous searches.
Get the best results with AI Search
Use Clear Language:
Enter precise and relevant keywords to narrow down your search results effectively.Make Queries That Include Filters Available on Prospector:
Use the available filters (e.g., categories, dates) to refine your search.
Note
You can ask questions that include filters available on Prospector.
The system will not be able to answer general questions that include filter categories not accessible on Prospector.
Avoid CRM-Related Questions:
Currently, there is no ability to ask questions related to your CRM. Focus your queries on other available data sources.
Examples of prompts that could yield the best results for you
Find sales directors based in London at companies with over 500 employees.
Show project managers in the technology sector in Austin at growing tech startups.
Search for HR managers in Berlin at companies using Salesforce.
Display contacts in the sales department in Tokyo at companies with annual revenue over $50 million.
Find companies based in New York using Salesforce, and recently received Series B funding.
Or simply a person’s name or surname.
