Use the Net New filter to find prospects that have not previously been redeemed by anyone in your Cognism account.
The filter helps you identify untouched prospects, avoid duplicate outreach and build prospect lists without manually checking previous activity.
Before you begin
- The Net New filter is available in Sales Companion Search.
- The filter uses Cognism redemption history and works independently of your CRM integration.
Understand the Net New filter
The Net New filter displays only contacts that have not been redeemed by anyone in your Cognism account.
Use this filter to:
- Find prospects your organisation has not previously accessed.
- Build lists of new prospects.
- Avoid duplicate outreach.
- Reduce time spent checking previous activity.
How the Net New filter works
The filter checks Cognism redemption history across your account.
A contact is no longer considered Net New after anyone in your Cognism account has:
- Revealed the contact.
- Exported the contact.
- Added the contact to a list.
- Revealed the contact using the Sales Companion Chrome Extension.
Once one of these actions has been completed, the contact will no longer appear when the Net New filter is applied.
Use the Net New filter
- Open Search.
- Select the Net New view.
- Apply your search filters.
- Review the results.
Only contacts that have not previously been redeemed within your Cognism account are returned.
Combine the Net New filter with CRM filters
The Net New filter works independently of your CRM.
If you use a supported CRM integration, you can combine the Net New filter with CRM filters to further refine your search.
For example, you can search for contacts that are:
- Net New
- Not already in Salesforce
- Not already in HubSpot
