Unable to log in because you forgot your password? This guide explains how to reset your Cognism password
If you have forgotten your Cognism password, you can reset it using the password reset option on the login page.
Reset Your Password
- Navigate to the Cognism login page.
- Click Forgot Password?
- Enter the email address associated with your Cognism account.
- Click Submit.
- Check your inbox for a password reset email.
- Open the email and follow the instructions to create a new password.
- Return to the login page and sign in using your new password.
I Didn't Receive a Password Reset Email
If you do not receive a password reset email within a few minutes:
- Check your Spam, Junk, Clutter, and Promotions folders.
- Verify that you entered the correct email address.
- Search your inbox for emails from Cognism.
- Contact your internal IT team to ensure emails from Cognism are not being blocked by your organization's email security policies.

I Log In Using Google, Microsoft, or SSO
If you normally access Cognism using:
- Google Login
- Microsoft Login
- Custom SSO
You may not have a Cognism password associated with your account.
In this case, use your organization's authentication provider to access Cognism and do not use the password reset option.
If you are unsure which login method your organization uses, contact your Cognism administrator.
Still Unable to Access Your Account?
If you have reset your password but are still unable to log in:
- Verify you are using the correct email address.
- Ensure there are no extra spaces when copying and pasting your password.
- Try logging in using an Incognito or Private browser window.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
If the issue persists, contact Cognism Support at help@cognism.com and include any error message displayed on screen.
