Logging Into Cognism

This article explains how to log into your Cognism account and the available authentication methods.

Before You Begin

Ensure that:

• You have been invited to Cognism by your administrator.
• Your account has been activated.
• You are using a supported web browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox.
• You have access to the email address associated with your Cognism account.

Log In with Email and Password

1. Navigate to the Cognism login page.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Enter your password.
4. Click Log In.

If your credentials are correct, you will be taken to the Cognism platform.

Log In with Google

If your organization uses Google authentication:

1. Navigate to the Cognism login page.
2. Select Continue with Google.
3. Choose your Google account.
4. Complete any authentication prompts.

You will be redirected to Cognism once authentication is successful.

Log In with Microsoft

If your organization uses Microsoft authentication:

1. Navigate to the Cognism login page.
2. Select Continue with Microsoft.
3. Enter your Microsoft credentials if prompted.
4. Complete any required authentication steps.

You will be redirected to Cognism after successful authentication.

Log In with Custom SSO

The SSO button on the login page is only available if your Cognism administrator has configured a custom Single Sign-On (SSO) connection for your organization.

Once authentication is complete, you will be redirected to Cognism.

First-Time Login

If this is your first time accessing Cognism:

1. Accept the invitation email sent by your administrator.
2. Follow the activation steps provided.
3. Create your password if required.
4. Return to the login page and sign in.
