How to integrate Cognism with Outreach? This guide explains how to set up the integration, connect your accounts, and start exporting contacts from Cognism.
With admin-led configuration and user authentication, teams can seamlessly send data to Outreach and streamline their engagement workflows.
Export contacts from Cognism to Outreach
The integration is admin-led. An admin must enable and configure it before users can log in and export contacts.
What the Outreach integration supports
Once enabled, the Outreach integration allows:
- Single and bulk contact exports to Outreach
- Exports from the Cognism Web App and Chrome Extension
Prerequisites
Before you start:
- You are an admin in Cognism (for initial setup)
- You have valid Outreach login credentials
- Users have Outreach accounts they can authenticate with
Enable the Outreach integration (admin)
Only admin users can enable and configure the integration.
- Log in to the Cognism web app.
- Select Settings from the left-hand menu.
- Go to Integrations > Outreach > Connect Integration.
- Sign in to Outreach when prompted.
After successful login, you are redirected back to the Cognism web app. A confirmation message indicates that the connection was successful.
Remove the integration
To remove the integration:
- Go to Integrations → Outreach.
- Select Remove.
Removing the integration disconnects Outreach for all users.
Log in to Outreach (users)
Once an admin has enabled the integration, individual users must log in using their own Outreach credentials.
Users can log in via the Cognism browser extension.
Once the admin has completed setup, each user must log in individually.
- Open Cognism.
- Select the Settings icon in the side navigation.
- Go to Integrations > Outreach > Log in.
- Enter your Outreach credentials and complete login.
You return to Cognism and can begin exporting records to Outreach.
Log out
To log out of Outreach, select Log out next to the Outreach integration.
After setup:
- Admins control integration availability
- Users authenticate Outreach individually
- Contacts can be exported from Cognism to Outreach
