Edit Profile Data

On the Browser Extension, you have the ability to edit phone numbers and emails, and add phone numbers and emails on profiles.

This is a way for you to update incorrect data for your entire account. It does not change the data that we will provide to you. This enables a smoother export to multiple integrations. You can edit once before exporting, rather than editing it each time you export, reducing the number of steps during export.

How does it work?

Edit an existing email or number

  • When prospecting on LinkedIn or Sales Navigator, hover over an email or phone number and click the edit icon.

  • Enter the number or email and click save.

Add a new email or number

  • When prospecting on LinkedIn or Sales Navigator, click Add mobile or Add email.

  • Enter the number or email and click save.

What happens with the data I’ve entered?

  • The edited mobile and email is saved for your entire organisation.

  • The data entered is not processed by Cognism - only users in your organisation can see the edited data and who edited it (hover over an edited datapoint).

  • Cognism Diamond Data is not impacted by any edits.

How will edits affect my CRM Exports?

  • When exporting as a lead to Salesforce, the review step is removed since editing can be done prior. If there is an error, the review and edit step will appear upon export.

  • When exporting as a Contact to Salesforce or HubSpot, and a new Account or Company is detected, click Review Account to review the Account or Company to associate the Contact to.
