How to Integrate Cognism with Pipedrive

This guide explains how to connect your accounts, configure field mappings, and start exporting contacts. 

With the Cognism Pipedrive integration, you can streamline data transfer, maintain consistency, and keep your CRM records accurate and up to date.

What the Pipedrive integration supports

Once enabled, the Pipedrive integration allows:

• Exporting contacts from Cognism to Pipedrive  
• Consistent data mapping based on admin-defined field mappings

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure:

• You are an admin in Cognism (for initial setup)
• Field mappings are reviewed before users begin exporting 

How to export contacts from Cognism to Pipedrive

The integration is admin-led. An admin must enable the integration and configure field mappings before other users can log in and use it.

Enable the Pipedrive integration (admin)

Only admin users can enable and configure the integration. To complete setup, the admin must log in to Pipedrive to configure field mappings.

1. Log in to the Cognism web app.  
2. Select Settings from the left-hand menu.  

3. Go to Integrations > Pipedrive > Connect Integration.  

4. Select Log in to Pipedrive. 

5. Enter your Pipedrive credentials > Allow permissions > Install 
   • If already installed > Continue to the app

After login, you are redirected back to Cognism. You can proceed with integration set up.

Log in to the Pipedrive integration (users)

Once the admin has enabled the integration, individual users must log in using their own Pipedrive credentials.

1. Go to Integrations > Pipedrive > Log in 

2. Enter your Pipedrive credentials. 

3. Install the Cognism Pipedrive app if prompted.

After login, you are redirected back to Cognism and can start exporting contacts.

Expected results

After setup:

• Admins control field mappings and integration availability 
• Users authenticate Pipedrive individually 
• Contacts can be exported from Cognism to Pipedrive 
• Exports work from both the web app and browser extension.
