How to integrate Cognism with Zapier: connect your account, automate exports, and send data to tools without native integrations.
Export Cognism data to other tools using Zapier
This article explains how to use Zapier to export data from Cognism to tools that lack native integrations (e.g., Zoho or SugarCRM).
Zapier automation lets you send high-quality Cognism data from Lists to other applications using a Zap you configure.
What the Zapier integration supports
Once set up, the Zapier integration allows you to:
- Export contacts from Cognism Lists
- Send data to tools not supported natively by Cognism
- Automate exports using Zapier workflows (Zaps)
Each user must connect to Zapier individually.
Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure:
- You have a Zapier account
- You have access to Cognism Lists
- You can generate a Cognism API key
Add the Cognism app to Zapier
Each user must add the Cognism app to Zapier before building a Zap.
- Go to Settings > Integrations in the left-hand side navigation.
- Find Zapier > Click Connect Integration > You are redirected to Zapier.
- Log in to Zapier.
- Select Accept invite > build a Zap.

- Select Continue.
- Run a test action.
Check the destination application to confirm the data was received.
Sync timing depends on your Zapier plan.

Once published, return to the Cognism web application.
