Export and Sync to Dynamics 365

To be able to export to Dynamics via Cognism, first ensure that you have already integrated you Dynamics account with Cognism, and you Cognism admin has customized the integration settings based on your business's needs.

If a record is exported to Dynamics, and there is no existing record for the exported contact in Dynamics, a new record will be created with the available data and mapped fields will be populated accordingly. 

 

Export from the Cognism Web Application 

Once you have generated a search in the Cognism Web Platform, you have the option to export 25 records at a time.

  1. Select the records you want to export and click Export>Dynamics

  2. A pop up will appear where you can select if you are exporting the record as a Lead or Contact. Select the option you prefer >Next.

  3. Depending on the integration settings, the Lead/Contact records might be exported with or without the associated Company record. If your selected object record is exported without the Company records, the export will proceed, and you should see a banner stating that the export was successful. However, if your selected object record is being exported with the associated company, you will then see another pop-up of the record with the company they are associated with.

  4. Click Export All > Export All Contacts. A banner will pop up in the upper right corner showing that the export was successful.

     

Export from Lists 

You can also export records to Dynamics from a  Cognism List.

  1. Navigate to the list that you want to export and select the contacts.

  2. Once you have selected the records you want to export, click Export > Dynamics

  3. A pop up will appear where you can select if you are exporting the record as a Lead or Contact.

5. Click Export All > Export All Contacts. A banner will pop up in the upper right corner showing that the export was successful.  

 

Export from the Browser Extension 

1. To export from the Cognism Chrome Extension to Dynamics, open the extension on the record you want to export. Click Export >Dynamics 365> Select Lead or Contact.

2. Before clicking Export you can review the details of the record Profile by clicking Edit, or edit the profile prior to export by hovering over the data point and clicking the edit icon (pencil).

3. A banner will appear that the record has been successfully exported.
