Usage Dashboard

The Usage Dashboard gives Admins access to usage reports for all users in the account, enabling you to better gauge how to get the most out of Cognism. An Admin can view a quick overview and dive into further details.

Admins can utilize the dashboard to view reports on various metrics such as usage, exports, data coverage, user sessions, and more. This allows an admin to effectively monitor team adoption and track the ROI for their Cognism subscription.

Usage dashboard is only available on the New Edition license and to Admin users.

Access the Usage Dashboard

Click your user avatar at the top-right.

Select Dashboard.

View the Usage Dashboard

The dashboard is available to be viewed by the Admin. Reports can be viewed for the last 3, 6 or 12 months.

You will see an overview of all the reports mentioned below, along with remaining credits, number of active users, users with an integration, and the number of remaining licenses available.

The dashboard is updated daily between 1am and 3pm GMT.

The following reports can be viewed:

  • Credit Usage and Profile Views

  • Profile Exports

  • Data Coverage

  • User Activity

  • Data by Countries

Credit Usage and Profile Views

Profile views vs Credits

Click the Credits Usage and Profile views icon at the left, or See More → on the report overview.

  1. Dropdown to select a timeframe for the report. You can select 3, 6 or 12 months.

  2. Types refers to Bulk credits or Profile views. You can select from the dropdown and differentiate between the two types.

  3. Legend indicating the source. This will be dependant on the services available within your contract.

Profile Exports

Click the Profiles Exported icon at the left, or See More → on the report overview.

Profile exports report allows you to view the number of profiles that have been exported to an integration within the last 3, 6 or 12 months.

  1. Dropdown to select a timeframe for the report. You can select 3, 6 or 12 months.

  2. Filter by source. The sources are either the Web Application or Chrome Extension.

  3. Legend indicating the destination that profiles were exported to. This will be dependent on the tools you’ve integrated with.

Data Coverage

Click the Data Coverage icon at the left, or See More → on the report overview.

View the types of data returned when accessing records. This will indicate which data types are more prevalent when contacts were accessed. You can view this as an actual number, or a percentage.

  1. Dropdown to select a timeframe for the report. You can select 3, 6 or 12 months.

  2. Dropdown to choose between percentages or actual totals.

  3. Legend indicating the data type.

Scroll down on this page to view a table of percentages and totals for the types of data accessed.

User Activity

Click the User Activity icon at the left, or See More → on the report overview.

Track individual usage within the table. Admins (managers) can see which users have integrated, are logging in, using credits, exporting and finding high-quality data.

See which of your users are “power users” and which users aren’t getting the most out of the platform. This can also help you to allocate a relevant number of credits to individuals with higher usage and get better results out of the platform. This information can help you to re-assess the users who have access and consider reallocating the license to a different user.

  1. Number of Active Users

  2. Number of licenses available on your account

  3. Number of users that have integrated with a CRM or Sales tool.

  4. Average number of user sessions

  5. Average number of credits used per user.

  6. Average number of exports to an integration per user.

  7. Dropdown to select a timeframe for the report. You can select 3, 6 or 12 months.

Click the arrows next to the column heading to sort the table in ascending or descending.

Data by Countries

Click the Data by Countries icon at the left, or See More → on the report overview.

View the number of contacts with an email, mobile and/or direct dial by region. The interactive map allows you to hover over a country and see the number of records accessed in that country.

  1. Dropdown to select between all data, mobiles, or emails.

  2. Dropdown to select a timeframe for the report. You can select 3, 6 or 12 months.

Scrolling further down the page reveals a table with countries contacts are from and how many contacts per country, and the percentages.

Export your Reports

You can export your usage report by clicking Download PDF Report on any of the reports.

  • Within the Usage Dashboard, click Download PDF Report on any of the report pages, or the dashboard overview page.

  • The download will begin automatically, and reports are in PDF format.

  • The downloaded report consists of the widgets that are displayed on the dashboard. (Graphs and tables)
