How we will communicate with you

This articles summarises the types of communications you can expect to receive while being a Cognism user.

 

Product Updates

For critical product information that you must be aware of, you will receive an email from productupdates@cognism.com regardless of whether you have opted out or not. These may include:

  • Important and required actions for admins or users
  • Maintenance updates
  • New releases you need to be aware of

Please note you will not be able to opt out of these emails as they are essential to your usage of our products.

Frequency: Ad-hoc

 

Product Insider Newsletters

Product newsletters contain useful information on our most recent product updates as well as new features or functionalities that get released so that you can:

  • Stay up to speed with new features
  • Leverage all functionalities relevant to you
  • Stay informed of any changes to our UI 

Frequency: Monthly, typically during the first week of the month

Customer Connect Newsletters

You will receive a monthly email from customermarketing@cognism.com that will only include relevant information for you as a Cognism Customer, these newsletter may feature: 

  • Recently published blogs for Sales & Marketing teams
  • Customer spotlights: featuring customer case studies
  • Small product updates and reminders
  • Recently published Help Centre articles
  • Relevant upcoming events and activities
  • Cognism Champions news
  • Partner spotlights

Frequency: Monthly, typically on the third Thursday of the month.

 

Although you can, we strongly advise you DON’T opt out of these emails as you risk missing valuable information or best practice tips. 

Please note that when unsubscribing from these, you are solely opting out of Connect Newsletters. 

 

In-app Communications

When logged into the Cognism WebApp, you may occasionally find a pop-up message containing information relevant to you. These include:

  • Product release notes containing details on the key updates you can expect to see in the product
  • NPS survey requests. We run quarterly NPS surveys to collect your feedback and ensure we are delivering value to you as a user. Please take 1-2min to complete it when you see it.
  • Upcoming event information
  • Other relevant information for you

Please note you cannot opt-out of these, but you will always have the option to close or dismiss them.

Frequency: Ad-hoc.
