Every time a prospect is exported to SalesLoft, if you haven't changed the default field mappings in the SalesLoft integration settings, and if no existing Person and Account record is found in SalesLoft, a new Person and Account record will get created.
SalesLoft integration with Cognism allows you to export contacts in bulk from Cognism Web Application into your SalesLoft.
An admin user needs to first enable and setup the integration (configure Field Mappings) in the Cognism Web Application before other users in the organization are able to use the integration, after which all users can login and begin using the integration via the Web Application or Cognism Chrome Extension.
All integration settings for both the Web Application and Chrome Extension are located centrally and can be managed in the Web Application.
Enabling the SalesLoft integration
- Click the user avatar at the top-right and click Settings.
- Click the Integrations icon.
- Select Add next to Salesloft.
- After clicking Add, users in the organisation can Login with their SalesLoft credentials. To configure field mappings, admin user will have to first Login to SalesLoft. Click Login and you will be redirected to the SalesLoft login page.
- Enter your SalesLoft login credentials and click Log In to continue. If you are already logged in to SalesLoft, you will not be redirected to this page.
User login to SalesLoft
- Click the user avatar at the top-right and click Settings.
- Click the Integrations icon.
- Click Log in next to SalesLoft. You will be redirected to the SalesLoft login page unless you are already logged in to SalesLoft.
Once you are logged in, you can begin exporting and syncing from Cognism to SalesLoft.
