Best Practice Timeline for Setting Up a New Domain for Outbound Sending

There should be ZERO activity for the first 2-3 weeks after creating a brand-new domain

  • Ideally a new domain should sit for 3 months with no cold email campaigns being sent from the domain. When you register a domain, it’s treated as suspicious from the get-go and therefore has a much higher chance of being picked up by spam filters.
