How to add the Account and Contact Widgets to page layouts

Account and Contact Widgets are Salesforce components that display Cognism data directly in the context of Salesforce records.

Click the settings cog and navigate to Setup.

Navigate to Object Manager by searching for the setting in the search bar.

Adding the Account and Contact widget on Lightning Pages

Click on Account and go to the Lightning Records Page.

Select the desired page you wish to add the widget to. If there are no pages listed, open an individual Account from the Accounts tab and click the settings cog. Click Edit Page to open the Lightning builder.

Here you can add the Account widget to the Salesforce Account page. In the search field, search Cognism and select CognismWidgetOnAccount.

Drag the CognismWidgetOnAccount and drop it in your desired tab.

Click Save to and if prompted, click Activate. In the Activation pop-up, click Assign as Org Default.

Adding the Account and Contact widget on Salesforce Classic Pages

After clicking Account, go to Page Layouts. Select the desired page you wish to add the widget to.

On the palette, scroll down to Visualforce Pages.

Create a section by dragging it into a prefered spot (under account information or additional information is recommended). Name this section (choose a name such as Cognism Profile).

Create 1 column and click Save. Drag WidgetAccountPage into the newly created section.

Adjust the dimensions by clicking the tool icon at the top right of the section.

Adjust the height between 500 and 700 pixels. Tick show scrollbars. Click OK and Save.

The same procedure can be followed to add the Contact Widget. You would instead select the Contacts or Leads page and drag and drop CognismWidgetOnPerson onto the Contacts or Leads page in Lightning UI or select Contacts or Leads page layout in Classic UI.
