A/B testing allows you to test different email variants against each other and optimize your email campaigns by determining which templates give the best results.

Go to ‘Sequences’ under the ‘Engage’ tab.

Create your email sequence. If you’re unsure of how to do this, please refer to this guide

Click 'Add Template' below to the existing step

Add in the alternative content/subject line
You will now have two variants of your email.

The system will automatically divide your leads in half, so 50% will receive variant A and 50% will receive variant B.
Please note that if you have multiple steps with A/B testing you cannot designate which template the prospects receive in the subsequent step. That means that if prospect A received template A in the first step, this does not mean that they will get template A on steps two, three and onwards. Each step will randomize which template prospect A receives.

You can add as many variants as you want.

Once you have launched the campaign, you can review the statistics for each template under the ‘Statistics’ tab within the campaign. This allows you to optimise your content for future campaigns!
