Assigning a Company

Overview

Assigning companies in the Sales Companion web app helps allocate accounts to teams or individuals efficiently. This guide explains how to assign companies using different methods.

 

Steps to Assign a Company

1. Access the Sales Companion web app

2. Locate the Company within Target Market Search

  • Identify the Target Market the company belongs to.

  • You can either create a new Target Market or select an existing one.

3. Open the Target Market

  • Click on the Target Market to access its details.

4. Assign a Single Company

  • Look under the Assign column.

  • Click on the ‘+’ sign to quickly assign a company.

5. Bulk Assign Companies

  • Select multiple companies by choosing a page or selecting all companies.

  • Click the ‘Assign’ button on the far right.

  • Allocate the selected companies to a team or individuals.

  • Choose the distribution method:

    • Fixed number per person

    • Even split among the team

  • Click ‘Assign’ again to confirm.

Managing Assigned Companies

  • All assigned companies appear under the Assigned Tab within each Target Market.

  • To Unassign a company:

    • Select a specific company or multiple companies.

    • Click ‘Unassign’ to remove them.

    • You can now reassign them to a different team or individual.
